getting books donation from a friend

Another friend of mine is going back home and trying to minimize weight of her luggage. She gave me some of her books. I appreciate this so much. It is wrapped in not-so –big-not-so -mall box and sent to me via gosend, which is another feature owns by gojek (an online based public transporation). Speaking of gojek, it recently also reach my hometown, though I rarely used the service, I tried gofood once out of the curiosity. I did not use the app because I don’t need to, I live in a small island and I got a motorbike.

This advanced technology wowed me when I’m living in big city now. How everything can be done effortlessly by the help of that application. We can go anywhere by one click away with gojek app. we can even walk if we want to, guided by the google map. Ordering food and sending stuff to somebody. But, now that we are in the middle of the pandemic outbreak crisis, these people who cannot stay and work from home are the heroes for all of us. Every day is battle field for them, anywhere the go.

You send me food and I’m instantly happy. You send me books and I’m happier already. Talking about the books, I wanted to order a new book published by one of my favorite influencer. It is actually her second book, and I read the first but didn’t have the chance to write the review here on this blog. What’s holding me back from ordering is that the address. Also, last night I read one of the articles, written by one of my favorite female journalist but she is now more famous for her acting career, I used to following her life on instagram, until she decided to be more private, she is only has almost sixty accounts both on her follower and following list, that’s her decision that we need to fully respect. She keeps givng updates through her twitter or blog, I read her blog very often back then.

These two favorite individuals I know discussing things that for those who might be still think traditionally or believe in old school values, will find this a little bit against the status quo. These two ladies talked about the option of not having children in marriage. See? I told you this is not so common. Even I, that spend most of my life being alone, dreaming of build a family with children in home.
