speaking class' homework; make a speech

Thank you for letting me to deliver my speech on this very special occasion

Under the big theme of education system, I am going to bring the speech with the title of I am me and you are you

Ladies and gentlemen

Do you believe that every one of us is qualified of doing everything or just some specific thing? Well, I believe that all of us have one thing we are good at and I think there is one big problem with our education, not only in Indonesia but in whole world.

Why am I saying such things? Just imagine how frustrated it is to be a student now. You have to study a lot of subject and then do the homework you are told to by the teachers and have the same obligation of being great in every subject you are studying.

Birds are meant to fly in the sky and fish are meant to swim in the ocean. So it is crystal clear that we could not force someday to be someone they are not. You might be good at math but that does not mean that everyone else is also good in that. They might be good at English or biology for example.

Ladies and gentlemen 

Have you seen it now? Yes there is one huge wrong with the education we have now and we need to fix it as soon as possible for the better. We need to place the students in where they are belongs to since in early education level.

What we are doing now is give the option when students are going into the university level. I think it would be so much better if they already know what they are going to do with their life earlier. Not to mention, there are a lot of students who do not know yet what they are going to choose to study in university or get into the wrong study field and makes them reenter the other department in the next year.

Ladies and gentlemen

It is so obvious that the students need help from the teachers to find their passion and what they are capable of doing so they can do the best in that special thing so that they will not get lost so that they can be the very best version of themselves.
