back to the classroom

Yesterday, we officially started the first meeting of the third semester after three weeks semester break, mmm yeay. Gonna teach again after three weeks off. It has been one year of me teaching in this program, which means, its only one more year to go before the program and the contract ended, wish its not gonna so soon. Dear, time, please move slower please.
I’ve been through a lot of thoughts throughout these whole on going process, though its not my first time teaching experience, yet it is absolutely gonna be the most memorable. Have had taught elementary and middle school students level back in the day when I was still one of the university student, and this time it’s about high school kids and their challanges. Feels like I’m becoming a father of 40 is the kind of sensation you could have felt during the classroom sessions. The emotional connection you tried to build along the way, the proud moment when you see them getting better each day, those type of experiences are just super sweet and beautiful.
My background as literature bachelor holder might not properly suitable, in terms of mastering the teaching methodology and any other associated standard requirements, but I can do it and I love it and I keep try the best I could. Well, most of the time it’s about me having faith in my intuition to do what I think is right, being an educator is so much more than a teacher, I personally believe that education is not only about getting good scores on test but beyond that.
Self development, grow will of seek out for knowledge, never ending curiosity leads to new discovery, things like that are parts of so many ways to achieve the real value of education. At least, that’s what I believe and that’s what I appreciate.
Every student is unique. Just like every each one of every human on planet earth are different from one another. Imagine this, there are like, how many, approximately 7,7 billions human but there is nobody at all that has the same characters. Well, if you like to argue about the similarity, yes you may say there few people share same interest, but overall different. So, that sort of concept is also what every educator should has in mind, seeing their children by wear different unique glasses.
I know I cannot confidently call myself perfect educator, there are many flaws in me, but I am giving my 100% effort. For my all dear emotional related sons and daughters in class. Welcome to another new adventure, keep the seat belt tight, because we will fly again, even higher this time, to knock the sky and say hello to the stars, stronger and further away.
My students don’t read my blog so it’s okay for me to say this. I am a proud father, and I love every one of you equally. Education is essential and education is the key to open the doors. To unlock the greatest potential that always there inside of you, sleeping giant, not awaken yet super powerful.
