Movie Review: Ready or Not

I’m so excited for the movie and then I see it and it turns out even better than I thought. The experience of getting scared but at the same time cannot hold to explode the laughter is super weird combination. It’s a fast pace story without any unnecessary details explanation but makes a lot of sense actually. The ending is very much unexpected but we will go there later, let’s keep it and start from the very beginning okay. Once upon a time, a beautiful lady married off with a son from a ridiculously rich family, and then instead of enjoy their so called romantic night after the wedding, she was forced to follow the traditional game that she has no choice of bargain of not to join the activity for whatever reasons, out of so many other games that selected randomly by the card drawer machine, she got the worst one. Basically, the family needed to kill her off before the sunrise or else, they all are going to die instantly.

Throughout the movie, I got so many not so sure experience, sometimes I wish the girl survive but also in so many other times I thought that she cannot make it alive, then I stop expect what will happen. The story is so enjoyable, you don’t get to know what is going to happen yet it happens pretty well done. The characterization is also incredibly unique in each of them, character growth, guessing of who is really the bad guys of all the bad guys is super fun. This movie definitely turns your heads upside down.

I scream and I giggle endlessly, and I feel pretty bad because I keep laughing while the scenes are showing bloods and torture and sadistic actions, I mean, am I really allow to laugh in that situation.

It is good to know that the girl that from outside is considered weak but can somehow beat that satan worshipper family to the max. Well, She was actually been captured at the very end, and you want to guess who was going to end her? It was her one and half year boyfriend/just married husband. Yeah, it was really coming out of nowhere, but luckily she survived, oh you will never know which is which. Thought of that now, it was almost always, she was accidentally lucky, or maybe destined to survive. You know, she was being captured and then released and recaptured like so many times, that’s something.

Indeed, my favorite scene is the final scene. When everything has stopped because the entire family failed to kill her while the sun has already risen, they don’t do anything, scared of the possibility of gone into the thin air but nothing really happened. Until, the lady with white hair that I think it is pretty okay to call her a grandma but they call her an aunty, suddenly explode, like literally the body was exploded. They were actually thinking that everything was such a non sense but then it really happened. The last one to explode was the boyfriend/husband, right after the lady took the wedding ring off of her finger and say to have a divorce, so he was sort of 50/50 chance of explode or not but she decides everything.
